For those who don’t already know, I’ve been reviewing products in my spare time. I recently had the opportunity to review some great health and beauty products compliments of Inflenster and I wanted to share my thoughts.
When I received the invitation to receive the Frosty VoxBox, I was thrilled! Mostly because it contained some of my favorite drugstore beauty brands like Rimmel and NYC.
The first product I tried was the Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeliner. Scandaleyes is waterproof and managed to stay on during most of the workday (until my workout that is)! It glided on without smudging which is hard to find in eyeliners. I applied the liner lightly before work but I could easily apply it a bit heavier for evening outings. I was pleased they also sent the Rimmel gentle eye makeup remover which helped me remove the product without any grease or oil.
Another product was the NYC Sugar Plum lipstick. I have very fair skin and was pleased how this lipstick looked. I don’t wear lipstick everyday because it typically washes off really fast once I eat or drink. This lipstick lasted longer than expected.
Boots No7 was included as well. I admire Boots as a high-quality brand and love their products. Although I’m a bit younger (24 to be exact) and don’t have as many fine lines, I can say the serum felt very refreshing when applied under my eyes.
There were also a few food/beverage items in the VoxBox – Celestial Tea Candy Cane Lane, McCormick Gourmet Thyme and Red Vines strawberry twists. I wasn’t aware of a good decaf green tea so Candy Cane Lane was a great find. I added a splash of Truvia to add some sweetness and to balance out the minty taste. It had a nice bold taste and I can’t wait to bring it to work. The strawberry twists were a great alternative to Twizzlers that any candy-lover would enjoy. McCormick thyme has a great scent and I’m planning on adding it to one of my favorite meal prep recipes: turkey burgers (recipe to come).
